  • Yulizawati et al (2023) Hypnobirthing is useful in overcoming anxiety during pregnancy.​

  • Uldal et al (2023) participants experienced an empowered birth because of the knowledge, coping strategies and mental training they gained from hypnobirth classes.

  • Atis & Rathfisch (2018) found reduced reports of fear and pain.

  • Adams et al (2012) found hypnobirthers had shorter labours. 

  • Werner etal ( 2013) analysis indicated hypnosis helped mother have "better"births.
