Fertility

When an employee's plans to get pregnant take longer than they hoped it can be an incredibly difficult and isolating period in their lives.  They may find themselves managing a rollercoaster of extreme emotions that all to often are hidden from those around them.  These sessions provide employees with a confidential safe space  to talk about their emotions, normalise their experience and learn techniques to reduce stress, thus increasing chances of conceiving either naturally or by assisted methods.

See supporting research below.

Who are these sessions for?

  • If employees (male, female and your partners)  are having difficulties with getting pregnant and you are at any place along your fertility journey this programme is here to support you.

  • 1 in 7 people in the UK may have difficulties in conceiving.

  • Some people get pregnant quickly, but for others it might take longer.  Its always a good idea to see a GP if you have not conceived after a year of trying.

  • There may be a biological cause to the infertility or no known reason.  This programme is here to help you emotionally to foster relaxation and reduce stress (stress can affect ovulation and sperm production).

  • These sessions can additionally help you change habits such as eating, smoking for drinking to support your fertility.

  • Fertility issues can be an isolating feeling by their very private nature, but this programme is here to listen and support you.

Below are some studies that have clearly demonstrated the role of belief systems on the success of conceiving:

Zhou et al (2021) found psychotherapy lead to improvements in pregnancy rates.

Elezaj (2015) found that a combination of analytical oriented psychotherapy increased the chances of fertility in patients with PTSD

Levitas (2006) use of hypnosis during ET may significantly improve the IVF/ET cycle outcome with increased implantation and clinical pregnancy rates.
